Ashley Larsen-Stewart
President
Hi! I'm Ashley and I'm in my final year of the BA Psychology program and currently applying to grad schools for next year. I'm excited to lead the Psyc Society this year and create some informative and fun events for our members. I hope to create a welcoming environment within the Psyc Society where students feel comfortable reaching out for help, mentorship, or even just a friendly chat. Outside of school, I enjoy travelling, surfing and hanging out with my dog.

Hi! My name is Amalia, and I am a 4th-year BA psychology student. Throughout my academic career, I've had the amazing opportunity to complete an Applied Studies course under the expert guidance of Dr. Reiko Yeap, where I applied classroom knowledge to my work as an Employment Consultant. Currently, I am undergoing an independent research study supervised by Dr. Jamie Prowse-Turner, hoping to contribute to the field of psychology. As my ultimate goal, I aspire to become an accomplished Industrial Psychologist, where I can implement evidence-based practices that promote employee engagement, work-life balance, and organizational effectiveness. Outside of school, I take every opportunity to explore national parks and enjoy the outdoors.

I’m Dani and I’m a third year PSYC student here at RDP. I am super passionate about eliminating the stigma around mental health, especially for students. I’m excited to be the PSYC Society’s secretary this year and can’t wait for meetings to start and for so many new connections to be formed. Hi, my name is Delaina Devnich and I am your first year rep for this years psych society! I am in my fourth year at Red Deer Polytechnic in the BA of Psychology, and hope to move on to grad school in Occupational therapy! As your first year rep I really just want to be there as a helpful guide, friend, or whatever you need to anyone but especially the first years! When I’m not at school I’m usually working or hanging out with my family and my friends! I also love to sing and do theatre whenever possible!

The inner workings of our nervous system have always been fascinating to me and I plan to continue my journey through academia with a Master's and PhD in Neuroscience. Hi All, my name is Jessica and I have the honour of being the third year rep with the Psych Society. I am in my third year as a student here at RDP and I am also a mom to three crazy kids who keep me on my toes but they are also my biggest cheerleaders.
In my time at RDP there have been so many exciting opportunities that we get to experience as students. I love learning about all things psychology especially abnormal psychology and also have found a deep interest in study of Africa. As exciting as it is, there are times it can be trying. But the best part of RDP is that when you are struggling, the instructors and other students are there for support. And this is where our student reps come in! Please don’t hesitate to approach one of our reps if you need anything at all. Thank you and I can’t wait to meet you all.
